Capacity by Design

A two-hour training that gives your people the capacity to protect their own performance and wellbeing in a demanding, fast-moving role.

The job isn't going to get less stressful. The pace, the pressure, and the demand aren't slowing down, and most employees are never taught how to work with their own energy within that reality. Left unaddressed, stress compounds day over day instead of resolving, and that compounding is what quietly erodes productivity and output over time.

Companies that treat this as a performance strategy, not a wellness afterthought, get ahead of the competition. While the pressure to perform keeps rising, their people aren't the ones burning out from it.

What This Workshop Covers

The content is tailored to the specific challenges and goals your team faces. But generally, here's what we cover.

Understanding Your Energy Patterns and Activation States

Most employees have never been taught to notice the difference between an activated state and a regulated one, so they push through both the same way until something gives out. This section builds that awareness directly.

  • Recognizing when you're in an activated state versus a regulated one, and what each actually feels like in your body during a normal workday

  • How to bring more balance into activated states, rather than staying wired until you crash

  • Tracking what drains you and what sustains you, so you can start to see your own patterns instead of guessing at them

Practices That Fit Your Actual Workday

The goal isn't a set of practices reserved for a wellness hour. It's tools your team can use inside the workday itself, so stress gets discharged as it happens instead of building up.

  • Completing the stress cycle. Understanding how stress is meant to move through and complete in the body, so it doesn't sit there and compound meeting after meeting, day after day.

  • Breathwork. Specific breathing patterns that shift your nervous system state directly, usable at your desk without anyone noticing.

  • Grounding. Settling your body's activation before you respond to what's in front of you.

  • Movement. Short, practical practice drawn from yoga, that works the nervous system from the body up.

What Your Team Walks Away With

  • Higher sustained output, because stress gets discharged as it happens instead of compounding into burnout, brain fog, and mistakes

  • Better decisions and fewer errors, since your team is working from a regulated state instead of pushing through an activated one

  • Fewer sick days and less presenteeism, as your people build the capacity to recover in real time instead of running on empty until something forces them to stop

  • A team that can sustain a demanding pace, without the performance dips and burnout cycles that come from running full speed with no way to reset

About your coach, Carrie

I spent a decade inside high-pressure corporate environments, including two roles as Chief of Staff, while training as a yoga and somatic coach. I know what a demanding role actually asks of a person's body and nervous system, because I lived it. This isn't outside wellness programming bolted onto your culture. It's built by someone who ran in the same rooms your team runs in.

I've sat in the exec syncs, run the offsites, and carried the calendar for leaders who couldn't afford to be anything less than sharp. That's the world I bring into every session. I'm not walking in as a wellness vendor who's read about corporate pressure. I've managed it from the inside, and I built this work specifically for people operating under that kind of load.

I’m a certified yoga and somatic coach trained in trauma-informed movement, and I've spoken and contributed for organizations including Chief of Staff Network, Ask a Chief of Staff, and ProductLed. My approach blends that operator background with the somatic and nervous system training, so the sessions hold up in a room full of people who are skeptical of anything that feels like wellness for wellness's sake.
